Operations Assistant (Warehouse & Store)

About the role

The Operations Assistant supports daily warehouse and store activities, ensuring smooth material flow from receipt to dispatch. You will work closely with supervisors and warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory records and uphold safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and verifying incoming materials against delivery documents.
• Support proper storage and stacking of materials according to warehouse layout and safety norms.
• Maintain accurate records of inward and outward material movements.
• Help with picking, packing, and dispatch of materials as per order requirements.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO practices for inventory handling.
• Support periodic stock counts and inventory audits.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the store/warehouse area.
• Coordinate with supervisors, forklift operators, and other warehouse staff for smooth operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 12th pass or diploma.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse/store operations.
• Ability to handle physical work and material movement.
• Basic documentation or computer knowledge is preferred.
