About the role
Rockstar Games is seeking an Online Systems Administrator to join its Bangalore studio. You will be part of the Online System Administrator team responsible for 24x7 network operations, supporting online games, features, and services in a high‑traffic, public‑facing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and administer Windows and Linux servers in a highly available environment.
- Deploy and manage SQL Server 2017/2019 clusters, including patching and migrations.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures for high availability and perform routine maintenance.
- Run IIS/.Net C# applications and manage a multi‑cluster VMware environment.
- Perform L1/L2 Active Directory administration and monitor services using Check MK, Splunk, and Grafana.
- Collaborate with data‑center technicians for hardware maintenance and issue resolution.
- Provide timely, creative solutions to complex technical problems.
Required profile
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Linux and/or Windows systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience and certifications.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and good communication skills.
- Ability to stay composed in fast‑paced situations and manage multiple projects.
