On-site Estate Manager for Boutique Heritage Property

About the role

Alt Homes is seeking an on‑site Estate Manager to be the face of a six‑suite heritage boutique property in Jaipur. This unique estate combines a citrus orchard, pool, and distinctive character, offering guests a high‑touch, non‑chain experience. The role blends the responsibilities of a boutique General Manager, personal concierge, and dedicated host.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, handling all check‑ins, check‑outs, and in‑stay communications with warmth and efficiency.
• Anticipate guest needs, create micro‑profiles, and curate personalized itineraries, recommendations, and dining reservations.
• Oversee daily operations of all suites, including housekeeping, maintenance, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
• Conduct briefings on guest preferences, manage suite readiness, and maintain comprehensive operational logs.
• Lead on‑property events such as supper clubs, workshops, and corporate gatherings, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
• Manage reservations through the Property Management System (PMS), track occupancy, and provide weekly reports on feedback and operational issues.

Required profile

• Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to resolve issues discreetly and maintain composure under pressure.
• Proactive team player who can coordinate with housekeeping, kitchen, and external vendors.

Required skills

• Property Management System (PMS) usage for reservations and reporting.
