Nursing Officer – Patient Care & Assessment

About the role

The Nursing Officer will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients at Apollo Hospitals, assessing health problems, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families throughout recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms and maintain accurate patient records.
• Administer medications, treatments and perform point‑of‑care tests.
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patients’ health status.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide bedside care, education and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and operate medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a qualification in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of nursing experience in patient care, health assessment and record keeping.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork abilities.
• Initiative, moral support and a patient‑centred approach.

• Computer literacy.
