About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nursing Officer to join its clinical team. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, maintaining accurate medical records, and supporting the hospital’s commitment to excellence in healthcare.

Key responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and symptoms.
• Administer medication and treatment as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct comprehensive nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes promptly.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure bedside care standards.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a qualification in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate care.
• Initiative, moral support, and a compassionate approach to patients.
• Basic computer literacy.
