Nursing Officer

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a Nursing Officer to join its clinical team. The role involves assessing patients' health problems, delivering comprehensive nursing care, maintaining accurate medical records, implementing care plans, and educating patients on health maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health status and respond to changes.
• Provide bedside care and support to patients and families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies.
• Operate and care for medical equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training.

Required profile

• Graduate with 1st division in 10th, 12th and a nursing qualification (GNM, BSc Nursing or M.Sc Nursing).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑building, listening and coordination skills.
• Initiative, moral support and a patient‑centered approach.
