Nurse Assistant – Patient Care Role

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care in a hospital setting. The role involves assisting nurses and physicians with clinical tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing compassionate support to patients and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms, and vital signs.
• Administer medication and basic treatments as directed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and nursing assessments.
• Monitor patient health status and report changes.
• Provide bedside care, including hygiene and mobility assistance.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure proper documentation.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing.
• Academic excellence: 1st division in 10th, 12th, and nursing qualification.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.

• Computer literacy.
