About the role
Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care in a fast‑paced hospital environment. The role involves assisting nurses and physicians with clinical tasks, maintaining accurate records, and providing compassionate support to patients and their families.
Key responsibilities
- Record medical history, symptoms and maintain patient documentation.
- Administer medication and basic treatments as directed.
- Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic nursing assessments.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall health status.
- Provide bedside care, including hygiene, mobility assistance and comfort measures.
- Operate and care for medical equipment and ensure inventory is stocked.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post‑discharge instructions.
Required profile
- Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
- Academic excellence: 1st division in 10th, 12th and nursing qualification.
- 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Team‑oriented mindset with initiative and moral support for patients.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
