Nurse Assistant – Patient Care Role

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care across its facilities in India. The role involves assisting with clinical tasks, maintaining records, and providing education to patients and families.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms and maintain patient charts.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patient health status and report changes.
• Provide bedside care, support and education to patients and families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure proper operation of equipment.

Required profile

• Graduate with GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• Academic excellence (1st division in 10th, 12th and graduation).
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
