Nurse Assistant – Patient Care

About the role

The Nurse Assistant will support patient care within Apollo Hospitals, assisting with clinical tasks, monitoring health status, and ensuring accurate medical documentation. This position is ideal for candidates with a nursing qualification who are eager to contribute to a high‑standard, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms of patients.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and conduct nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients' health conditions and report changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Deliver bedside care and operate medical equipment safely.
• Participate in regular in‑service education sessions.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing, or MSc Nursing.
• Academic record with first division in 10th, 12th, and nursing qualification.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing, patient assessment, and care planning.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
