Nurse Assistant (GNM/BSc/MSc Nursing)

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a Nurse Assistant to support patient care across its facilities. The role involves direct bedside assistance, health assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centred services.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and allied health professionals for coordinated patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and nursing assessments.
• Monitor patients’ health status and report changes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Deliver bedside care, including operating and caring for medical equipment.
• Participate in regular in‑service education and training.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing.
• First division in 10th, 12th and nursing qualification.
• 3 months to 5 years of experience in nursing or patient care.
• Strong interpersonal relationship, listening, teamwork and communication skills.
• Initiative, moral support and a compassionate approach to patients.
