Non-Tech Sourcing Recruiter – Amazon Operations

About the role

Amazon is seeking a talented Non‑Tech Sourcing Recruiter to support its North American Operations recruiting team. You will focus on identifying and engaging high‑quality distribution and operations professionals across the United States, helping the company meet its rapid growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Source and recruit passive candidates, profiling them for cultural fit and motivation.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential talent through proactive market research and relationship management.
• Conduct in‑depth interviews and assess candidates against hiring manager preferences to achieve high offer‑to‑interview ratios.
• Recommend recruitment strategies and implement new or refined processes aligned with Amazon’s service standards.
• Develop written plans with deliverables, timelines, and tracking mechanisms.
• Utilize Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X‑ray search, and other channels to source candidates for remote sites.
• Screen candidates via phone and virtual interviews, using ATS and other tools to evaluate qualifications.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage, prioritize, and close high‑volume searches within defined timelines.
• Experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and meeting service level agreements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑service mindset.
• Demonstrated urgency, ability to push back when needed, and excellent time‑management.
