New Product Development Executive

About the role

Suroskie is seeking a New Product Development Executive to lead the end‑to‑end creation of innovative skincare and beauty products. You will translate market insights and consumer trends into on‑brand, commercially viable products, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research across offline and online channels to identify trends, consumer needs, and whitespace opportunities.
• Develop product concepts, create detailed briefs, and coordinate feasibility, MOQ and costing with manufacturers.
• Lead shade development, benchmarking, and approval through lab, pilot and bulk stages.
• Oversee primary and secondary packaging design, material selection, artwork approval and production samples.
• Manage product costing, margin analysis and cost optimisation.
• Support forecasting, launch planning and track critical paths.
• Act as the liaison between brand, manufacturers and supply‑chain teams to ensure smooth handover.
• Maintain comprehensive NPD documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of end‑to‑end New Product Development experience in cosmetics or personal care.
• Proven ability to launch products from concept to market.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic formulation, shade development and packaging.
• Commercial awareness with a focus on cost control and profitability.
