Network Security Architect – Secure Broadband Infrastructure

About the role

Kerala Vision Broadband Limited is seeking a Network Security Architect to design, implement and maintain secure network architectures for its large‑scale FTTH and broadband infrastructure. The role is full‑time, on‑site in Kerala and focuses on protecting critical network assets while supporting high‑availability services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess security risks across the broadband and FTTH network.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards and procedures.
• Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, load balancers and secure access solutions.
• Monitor network traffic for threats using SIEM and log analysis tools.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate incident‑response activities.
• Collaborate with network operations teams to ensure high availability and resilience.
• Evaluate and integrate new security technologies and solutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry best‑practice frameworks.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in network architecture and design for large‑scale ISP environments.
• Hands‑on experience with network security technologies and security assessment tools.
• Proficiency with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and PCI‑DSS.
• Experience in cloud and virtualization security, as well as automation or scripting for security operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CCNP Security, CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly beneficial.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities with clear communication skills.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kerala and collaborate in cross‑functional teams.
