Murex BO Business Analyst

About the role

DXC Luxoft is looking for an experienced Murex Functional Consultant / Specialist to support a Murex implementation or change project in Chennai. The role defines, configures, validates and supports functional solutions within Murex's Back Office area, working closely with business stakeholders, BA teams, developers and support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and define target-state processes and functional designs, including standard options, gaps, dependencies and workarounds
• Configure and maintain Murex components such as product setup, event generation, pricing parameters, market data, settlement and payment logic, accounting mappings, reporting and messaging
• Support end-to-end trade lifecycle processes and validate product behavior across booking, valuation, lifecycle events, settlement and reporting
• Define functional test scenarios, support unit, system, integration, regression and UAT testing, investigate defects and support retesting
• Work with business users, BAs, developers and testers, communicate risks and dependencies, and contribute to cutover, go-live and hypercare support
• Support production issue investigation and provide post-go-live support
• Produce and maintain functional design documents, configuration notes, test scripts and support documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• 6-7+ years of relevant working experience
• Proven experience as a Murex Back Office Functional Consultant / Specialist on implementation or change projects
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Murex and its functional configuration
• Experience in testing, issue analysis and defect resolution
• Strong communication skills with technical and business stakeholders
