Mobile Test Engineer

About the role

As a Mobile Test Engineer you will join Infosys' delivery team to ensure high‑quality design, development, validation and support for mobile applications. You will work closely with clients to understand detailed requirements and translate them into actionable test plans that drive successful digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse functional and non‑functional requirements to create comprehensive system specifications.
• Design, develop and execute mobile automation test scripts.
• Estimate effort for testing activities and provide accurate forecasts to project leads.
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to ensure testability and performance.
• Maintain test documentation, including test cases, scenarios and defect reports.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of design principles, architecture fundamentals and performance engineering.
• Knowledge of quality processes, estimation techniques and basic project domain concepts.
• Ability to translate functional and non‑functional requirements into testable system requirements.
• Experience designing and coding complex test programs.
• Proficiency in writing detailed test cases and scenarios based on specifications.
• Good grasp of SDLC, agile methodologies and emerging technology trends.
• Logical thinking, problem‑solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
