Mobile Software Developer

About the role

Cotecna is looking for a Mobile Software Developer to join its IT function and contribute to innovative, client‑focused solutions. You will work in a Scrum team, turning product‑owner ideas into high‑quality mobile applications while adhering to governance standards and security best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse, develop and enhance in‑house mobile applications using the approved technology stack.
• Estimate development tasks together with the Project Development Team and present completed user stories at the end of each sprint.
• Use governance tools and processes throughout development and testing, ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks.
• Stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies, share knowledge with the team and support fellow developers.
• Research better development methods, propose solutions to technical or business challenges, and help define the technical vision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
• 3–6+ years of mobile development experience, preferably with Android, iOS and Flutter.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with an ownership mindset focused on quality and delivery.

Required skills

• Flutter (including migration from native/hybrid stacks).
• State‑management frameworks such as Bloc, Provider and Riverpod.
• Integration of REST APIs, OAuth2/JWT authentication and secure data handling.
• Offline‑first design, local storage, caching and sync strategies.
• CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, performance optimisation, debugging and profiling.
• Secure coding practices.
