Mobile Developer

About the role

Helfie is seeking a Mobile Developer to design, build, and maintain features for both Android and iOS applications. The role blends native development with cross‑platform work, leveraging Kotlin Multiplatform and modern UI toolkits.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile app features using Kotlin + Jetpack Compose and Swift + SwiftUI.
• Implement shared business logic with Kotlin Multiplatform (or Flutter/React Native) while preserving native user experience.
• Optimize app performance, including startup time, memory usage, rendering speed, and network efficiency.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Fastlane) for linting, testing, code signing, and store deployments.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts and with product/design teams to translate requirements into polished UI.
• Monitor crashes and performance using tools such as Crashlytics and Firebase Performance, and proactively resolve issues.
• Support release cycles, phased rollouts, hot‑fixes, and store submissions.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of professional mobile development experience with shipped production apps.
• Hands‑on experience on at least one native platform (Android Kotlin + Jetpack Compose or iOS Swift + SwiftUI); familiarity with both is a plus.
• Experience with a cross‑platform framework, preferably Kotlin Multiplatform, Flutter, or React Native.
• Proven ability to maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile projects.
