Middleware Product Owner – System Integration (EDI, SAP CPI)

About the role

We are seeking a Middleware Product Owner to drive system‑integration projects, with a focus on EDI and SAP CPI, for our Business Process Integration team in Hyderabad. You will work closely with product managers, architects and DevOps engineers to shape the product roadmap and ensure seamless delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the middleware DevOps team together with the product manager and architect.
• Create and align the product roadmap with business partner goals.
• Remove product‑related impediments and support the team’s performance.
• Consult the BPI team on technical design and functional specifications.
• Provide effort estimates, contribute to project planning and produce technical design documents.
• Configure and develop in SAP, Kafka, SAP HANA, Java and related stacks.
• Manage internal and external development resources.
• Support testing, service transition and continuous improvement.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into concrete specifications for SAP CPI, Kafka, API‑Management and Java‑based solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related STEM field with 4‑6 years IT experience, OR Bachelor’s with 6‑8 years, OR diploma with 6+ years.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years as a digital product owner.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile ways of working.
• International company experience is a plus.
