Middleware Engineer – System Integration (EDI, SAP CPI)

About the role

We are looking for a Middleware Engineer specialized in system integration to join our GDF/AF Business Process Integration team in Hyderabad. The role involves designing, configuring and developing integration solutions using SAP CPI, Kafka and related technologies, and supporting their lifecycle from design to production.

Key responsibilities

• Consult the BPI team on technical application questions during solution design and functional specification.
• Provide effort estimations, create technical design documents and contribute to project planning.
• Configure and develop integrations in SAP, Kafka, SAP HANA DB and Java‑based technology stacks.
• Manage development activities, including internal and external resource planning.
• Support testing, service transition and production support, including root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with support teams to identify and implement continuous improvements.
• Design software architecture, develop and migrate applications, modules and interfaces.
• Integrate and test software components within the existing landscape and ensure quality documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or STEM field with 4‑6 years of IT experience, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree with 6‑8 years, or diploma with 6+ years.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in an Agile environment.
• Experience working in an international company is a plus.
