Microsoft Data Architect

About the role

We are looking for a Microsoft Data Architect to help our customers gain control over their data and unlock its value. The role involves defining reference architectures, working closely with business leaders and information‑management teams, and delivering end‑to‑end data platform solutions on‑premises or in Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current data landscapes, identify gaps and define a roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Design and implement data platforms using Microsoft Azure services and SQL Server technologies.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to propose optimal data models and workflows.
• Lead the creation of data workflows, user interfaces and data quality rules.
• Present solutions and recommendations to senior management and project sponsors.
• Coach and train data analysts, engineers and end‑users on the new platform.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in data intelligence, data architecture or related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English and either Dutch or French.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi‑disciplinary teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure Data Services (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
• Microsoft SQL Server ecosystem (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
• Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Data modeling and workflow design.
