Microsoft Data Architect

About the role

You will help customers gain control of their data and extract value by defining reference architectures. Working closely with business leaders and information management teams, you will design roadmaps for data management, business intelligence, and analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing data landscapes, identify gaps, and define target data platforms on‑premises or Azure.
• Design and propose data models, user interfaces, and workflow solutions that meet business needs.
• Create and present data platform designs to senior management and stakeholders.
• Guide project teams, mentor new data analysts and engineers, and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of data solutions, from design through implementation and monitoring.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in data intelligence, analytics, or data engineering.
• Strong understanding of both technical and user‑facing aspects of data collection.
• Excellent problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and collaborative skills.
• Fluent in English and proficient in Dutch or French.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure Data Services: Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Databricks.
• Microsoft SQL Server ecosystem: SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
• Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
