Medical Doctor – Sexual Health (Chennai/Coimbatore)

About the role

DrSafeHands is seeking a full‑time Medical Doctor to join its sexual health team in Chennai or Coimbatore. You will provide evidence‑based consultations, conduct examinations, and manage treatment plans for sexually transmitted infections and related conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver confidential sexual health consultations and clinical examinations.
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic test results.
• Develop and document individualized treatment plans for STIs.
• Counsel patients on safe sexual practices and obtain informed consent.
• Collaborate with counselors, laboratory partners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold strict confidentiality.
• Stay updated with current guidelines in sexual health and infectious diseases.

Required profile

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution; specialization in dermatology, venereology, or infectious diseases is a plus.
• Active medical registration with relevant regulatory authorities.
• Fluent English communication; Tamil or other regional language proficiency is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and commit to a consistent full‑time onsite schedule.
• Prior experience in sexual health or public health settings is preferred but not mandatory.
