About the role

This position is open to recent graduates holding B.Tech, M.Tech or related degrees in biomedical and life‑science fields. The role focuses on medical coding and utilization management, requiring strong English communication and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to URAC and internal utilization management timelines and best practices.
• Review medical records, provide concise recommendations, and identify missing documentation.
• Perform Medical Review Assessments (MRA) on health‑service utilization, ensuring compliance with labor and regulatory requirements.
• Track the status of ongoing reviews, follow up on pending cases, and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to inbound calls related to medical reviews, following established protocols.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement utilization management programs.
• Continuously learn new methods and services as required.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate (0‑1 year experience) with a degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biology or related fields.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
