Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Tyre Cord & CSY Plant

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Tyre Cord and CSY process plant at the Kalyan unit. The role involves ensuring reliable operation of critical plant equipment through preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, while supporting shutdowns and commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance on plant equipment and utilities.
• Monitor and maintain pumps, compressors, motors, blowers, pipelines, valves, reactors, agitators and related systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with production teams for smooth operations and timely interventions.
• Support shutdown planning, execution and commissioning activities.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments prior to maintenance work.

Required profile

• Technical background in mechanical or industrial maintenance.
• Experience working in a process plant environment.
• Ability to work on‑site and collaborate with production and safety teams.
