Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (RSL CPP)

About the role

The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will support the reliability and integrity of all mechanical equipment in the plant. The role involves planning, executing, and supervising predictive and preventive maintenance activities while adhering to safety guidelines, company policies, and budget constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct day‑to‑day mechanical maintenance following all relevant policies, processes, and SOPs.
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules in coordination with Production, Technology, and CES teams.
• Create resourcing plans for routine maintenance and shutdown jobs.
• Collect mechanical discipline data, monitor KPIs, and report performance to senior maintenance leadership.
• Plan and control inventory of mechanical spares, issue parts for jobs, and support procurement activities.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance cost estimates, assist budgeting, and analyze expenditures.
• Execute and supervise maintenance tasks ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise production and quality losses.
• Analyse equipment condition, monitor performance trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Carry out preservation activities and manage shutdown job execution as scheduled.
