MD Medicine Physician – Inpatient & Outpatient Care

About the role

The MD Medicine Physician will deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, diagnosing, treating and managing a broad spectrum of medical conditions. This full‑time, on‑site position is based at KMH’s hospital in Dasuya and includes participation in duty rosters and emergency coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and thorough physical examinations.
• Order, interpret and act upon laboratory, imaging and other diagnostic investigations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust therapies based on patient progress.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate care with specialists and contribute to multidisciplinary clinical discussions.
• Provide education to patients and families on disease management and preventive health.
• Participate in on‑call duty rosters, including night and emergency shifts as required.

Required profile

• MD in General Medicine from a recognized institution with valid medical registration.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosis, acute and chronic disease management across internal medicine specialties.
• Ability to interpret laboratory results, imaging and other investigations and integrate findings into care plans.
• Effective communication with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams, including clear documentation.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Capacity to work in a high‑demand environment, manage time efficiently and participate in rotating duties.
• Preferred experience in hospital‑based internal medicine; exposure to critical care or emergency management is an advantage.
• Willingness to engage in continuing medical education, clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
