About the role
The Materials Manager will lead the department to ensure efficient material planning and procurement in line with Hyatt International's corporate strategies and brand standards. The role supports employee, guest and owner expectations by maintaining seamless supply operations within the hotel.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and procure all material required for hotel operations.
- Develop and manage vendor relationships, ensuring quality and cost‑effectiveness.
- Administer contracted services in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to meet operational needs.
- Align departmental activities with corporate strategies and brand standards.
Required profile
- University degree or diploma in Finance, Hospitality or Tourism Management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Materials Manager or Purchasing Manager in a large operation.
- Strong problem‑solving, administrative and interpersonal abilities.
