Manager, Smart Acquirer Services Commercial Program Management

About the role

The Manager, Smart Acquirer Services (SAS) Commercial Program Management will lead the global execution of the SAS initiative, coordinating across product, finance, legal, regional, and delivery teams to launch and scale the service in priority markets.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage the SAS program governance model, including steering committees, working groups, milestones, risk registers and escalation paths.
• Build and maintain repeatable commercialization playbooks for markets such as South Africa, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Georgia and Mauritius.
• Coordinate revenue opportunity assessments, business case development, and market readiness reviews covering commercial, competitive, regulatory and stakeholder alignment criteria.
• Partner with finance and pricing teams to create market business cases, revenue allocation methods and track projected versus realized revenue.
• Drive regional commercialization workstreams, develop rollout plans, prioritize acquirers, and manage customer engagement, roadshows and enablement programs.
• Standardize onboarding processes for acquirer onboarding, Merchant Cloud provisioning, certification, testing and go‑live readiness.
• Manage launch approval processes, define adoption KPIs, build executive dashboards and track adoption, activation and revenue realization across markets.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading complex global programs, PMOs or strategic transformations.
• Strong background in payments, acquiring, acceptance, gateways or value‑added services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage executive stakeholders and influence without authority.
• Exceptional program management, governance and organizational skills with strong commercial acumen.
• Experience managing multiple markets and regions simultaneously in a matrixed global organization.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills; analytical, structured and data‑driven.
• PMP, MBA or equivalent program management experience preferred; fluency in English required.
