Manager

About the role

YEMI is looking for a Manager to lead both research & development and after‑sales performance for its industrial engine portfolio. The role combines new product development, technology transfer, field issue resolution and continuous improvement of production and supplier processes.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new product development and improvement of existing engines based on market and customer requirements.
• Plan, execute and validate product trials, testing and technology transfer from design to manufacturing.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies.
• Lead after‑sales strategy, analyse warranty failures, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, QA, sales, service teams, dealers and OEM partners to align development with business needs.
• Support service campaigns, field improvement programmes and develop training modules for service engineers.
• Identify and lead production and supplier improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in a similar R&D or after‑sales role, preferably in diesel engine or tractor equipment companies.
• 10‑15 years of overall experience in diesel engine industry.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Deep knowledge of tractor mechanisms and engine structures.
