Manager – Factory Inventory / Manufacturing Control

About the role

The company is seeking a Manager to lead factory inventory and manufacturing control functions. You will ensure accurate inventory records, support costing processes, and collaborate with warehouse, finance, and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly inventory reconciliations across ERP, operational systems, and physical stock.
• Monitor inventory shrinkage, investigate variances, and drive corrective actions.
• Track damaged inventory and manage accounting, repair, disposal, or write‑off processes.
• Validate production volumes, labour, overheads, and process losses for monthly manufacturing costing.
• Review inventory transactions for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare reconciliation reports, exception trackers, and inventory MIS within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate with warehouse, factory, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain documentation to support internal and statutory audits.
• Ensure compliance with inventory policies, SOPs, and internal financial controls.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of experience in inventory control, finance, or related manufacturing roles.
• B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance or CA qualification (freshers also considered).
• Strong ownership, analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
