Manager - Dealership and Service Operations

About the role

Exponent Energy is hiring a Manager for Dealership and Service Operations within its After Sales team in Bengaluru. The team aims to grow Exponent's market share in the city and help more people adopt 15-minute rapid charging via its Flexible Energy Stack, made of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station).

Key responsibilities

• Lead retrofit and after-sales operations across COCO and FOFO/DODO centers, standardize processes, quality and customer experience, and coordinate with dealers, franchise partners and internal teams.
• Drive vehicle intake, qualification, retrofit, testing and delivery, and ensure targets, timelines and quality standards are met.
• Support setup and expansion of service centers, charging hubs and 3S centers (Sales, Service, Spares), coordinating manpower, tooling and infrastructure.
• Manage dealer and franchise partner operations, SOPs, KPIs and standards, and support partner capability development.
• Plan service center capacity and staffing, manage e^Kit and spare parts availability, and oversee IQC and inventory health.
• Ensure IPQC, tooling calibration, EOL and PDI compliance, and drive corrective actions and process improvements.
• Monitor KPIs such as output, turnaround time, uptime, warranty closure and customer feedback, and train technicians, drivers and dealer teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the automotive or EV industry.
• Strong understanding of retrofit processes and quality assurance standards.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Preferred: experience in automotive, 3W cargo or passenger vehicles.
