Manager – Business Analyst (Banking, Corporate Banking)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead Business Analyst activities within its Corporate Banking advisory practice in Mumbai. The role focuses on trade finance, supply chain finance and cash management, helping clients design and implement emerging technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define processes and requirements for transaction banking products, especially in trade finance and supply chain finance.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, create use cases, user stories and workflow models.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders, development teams and vendors to clarify and validate requirements.
• Provide functional support during development, testing and implementation phases.
• Manage multiple digital transformation projects, ensuring adherence to governance, change and release management frameworks.
• Track project delivery, report status to senior management and maintain project documentation.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day activities with clients, vendors and internal teams.

Required profile

• 5‑9 years of relevant experience in banking, NBFCs, fintech or consulting, with a focus on trade finance, supply chain finance or cash management.
• Degree in B.Tech/B.Com; MBA preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel within India and abroad as project needs dictate.

Required skills

• Business analysis and requirements management techniques (process modelling, use cases, user stories).
• Experience with transaction banking product design and implementation.
• Project governance, change management and release management.
