Maintenance Technician – Mechanical Focus

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical‑focused Maintenance Technician to join our production team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing complex mechanical equipment while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of complex mechanical systems and conduct equipment inspections under guidance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues for emergency repairs and perform preventive maintenance routines.
• Analyze routine functional inquiries and follow established procedures to provide effective solutions.
• Conduct quality tests, inspections, and complex analyses requiring independent judgment.
• Apply organizational policies, regulatory codes, and mandatory procedures to ensure operational compliance.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Organize daily work schedule in line with changing priorities.
• Develop technical skills through training, coaching, and assessment activities.
• Support internal communications and implement simple change‑management tasks.
• Provide clear verbal communication and technical guidance to colleagues and customers.
• Plan, organize, and prioritize activities to meet business objectives efficiently.
• Optimize utilization of production plant, equipment, and materials.
• Develop, monitor, and interpret policies and procedures to align with organizational goals.
• Navigate face‑to‑face field service interactions and deliver technical support.
• Prepare clear and effective reports under guidance.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary non‑tertiary education.
• 7–12 months of hands‑on experience with straightforward mechanical procedures or systems.
• Sound understanding of equipment installation, maintenance, and safety practices.
