Maintenance Technician – Daman

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures smooth operation of plant machinery, equipment and utilities. You will respond to breakdowns, carry out preventive maintenance and support installations to minimise downtime and maximise equipment efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Attend machine breakdowns promptly and perform electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose faults in motors, control panels, utility systems and production equipment.
• Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance according to schedules.
• Perform electrical wiring, cable laying, panel maintenance and troubleshoot control circuits.
• Lubricate machines, maintain bearings, belts, chains, pumps, gearboxes and compressors.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and relocation of machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, spare‑parts usage records and report recurring issues.
• Follow safety policies, use PPE and keep work areas clean.

Required profile

• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery and equipment faults.
• Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.
• Good record‑keeping and documentation skills.
