Maintenance Services Technician II

About the role

Panasonic Avionics is seeking a Maintenance Services Technician II to perform line maintenance on In‑Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) systems and related aircraft equipment. The role ensures that all systems remain serviceable, functional, and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform line maintenance tasks including component replacement, adjustments, inspections, functional tests and certification on IFEC and other aircraft systems.
• Troubleshoot system failures down to line replaceable units (LRU), cabling or related aircraft components and conduct post‑repair functional testing.
• Execute cabin sweeps, built‑in test equipment (BITE) and manual tests, and load software and media as required.
• Maintain and clean equipment racks, filters and related hardware.
• Complete all required documentation and certify work in accordance with customer‑specific and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with airside inventory management, cycle counting, packaging and shipping.
• Uphold high standards of housekeeping, health and safety, and tool care.

Required profile

• Secondary or technical school degree.
• At least 12 months of experience working on Panasonic IFEC equipment or similar aircraft systems.
• Ability to follow regulations, policies and procedures for aircraft maintenance.
