Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical & CNC Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Chennai (Oragadam) facility. The role focuses on mechanical and machine maintenance for CNC equipment, ensuring high availability and continuous improvement of production assets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform breakdown analysis and troubleshooting for CNC machines such as turning, milling, VMC and SPM.
• Execute preventive maintenance, 5S, Kaizen initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain and improve MTTR and MTBF metrics for all critical equipment.
• Carry out hydraulic and pneumatic system maintenance and repairs.
• Utilize SAP for maintenance planning and AutoCAD for technical documentation.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech (any discipline) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical and machine maintenance, preferably in the automotive sector.
• Willingness to relocate to Chennai (Oragadam).

Required skills

• CNC machine maintenance (turning, milling, VMC, SPM).
• Hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshooting.
• Preventive maintenance, 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
• MTTR and MTBF analysis.
• Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD and MS Office.
