Machinist (SEDM Machine Operator)

About the role
The Machinist (SEDM Machine Operator) will operate CNC and conventional machines to produce tooling parts according to engineering drawings. The role requires precise interpretation of dimensions and consistent adherence to quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor machining equipment to fabricate tooling components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select appropriate cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling for each job.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and compliance with tolerances.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience operating machining equipment.
- ITI or Diploma in a relevant technical field.
- Ability to understand and work from engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
