Lounge Host – Food & Beverage Service

About the role

The Lounge Host will deliver exceptional guest service in the lounge area of Andaz Delhi, ensuring the brand promise is consistently met. You will interact with both external guests and internal departments, handling inquiries and complaints with professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Seat guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages following established procedures.
• Present menus, answer guest enquiries, and suggest food‑beverage pairings.
• Clear and reset tables after each course and maintain a tidy service area.
• Operate the Micros POS system, compute bills, accept payments, and perform cashier duties as required.
• Verify cash and credit‑card transactions, adhering to finance and cash‑handling policies.
• Maintain stock levels of equipment and guest supplies.
• Collaborate with other outlet staff and hotel departments to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Uphold personal grooming standards and comply with health, safety, and hotel policies.

Required profile

• Relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel operations or food‑and‑beverage service.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Micros point‑of‑sale system.
