Loss Prevention Associate

About the role

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees by monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and conducting investigations. This full‑time, onsite position works closely with the security team to maintain a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and handle interruptions or complaints.
• Document all incidents, complete shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of reports.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Support guests, including individuals with disabilities, and uphold company service standards.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training, and licensing requirements where applicable.
• Capability to read and verify information in various formats.
