Logistics & Distribution Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Logistics & Distribution Specialist to join our supply chain team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on managing transport partners, optimizing freight operations, and ensuring seamless end‑to‑end logistics for our nutrition brands.

Key responsibilities

• Select, onboard and manage transporters, negotiate freight rates and handle contingencies during disruptions.
• Plan and execute daily purchase‑order dispatch schedules, enforce FIFO docking and coordinate reverse pickups.
• Resolve logistics execution issues such as loading delays, diversions, accidents, off‑spec material and quantity discrepancies.
• Monitor performance of logistics service providers, drive continuous improvement using SaaS platforms and produce accurate MIS reports.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and safety norms, support incident investigations and manage marine insurance and EXIM logistics where required.
• Collaborate with sales, terminals, transporters and head‑office teams to achieve timely POD closure.

Required profile

• 3 months to 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or distribution.
• Patience and strong relationship‑management skills with last‑mile partners.
• Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.

Required skills

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Google Sheets.
