Location Investigation Manager

About the role

The Location Investigation Manager will lead investigations related to fraud and compliance across Aditya Birla Finance Limited's operations. Based in Mumbai, the role works closely with legal, risk, and law‑enforcement agencies to protect the company's financial assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conclude investigations promptly and produce detailed reports within defined turnaround times.
• Coordinate with law‑enforcement agencies and recover monetary losses according to the penalty matrix.
• Drive internal control enhancements, automation, and root‑cause analysis to mitigate fraud risks.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure audit and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain MIS and fraud‑system trackers, generate dashboards for senior management, RMC, ORMC, and ACB.
• Lead awareness campaigns and develop training material on fraud prevention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
• Experience in collections for mid‑market or corporate clients.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and high ethical standards.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and willingness to travel for on‑ground collection.

Required skills

• Technical proficiency in Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Hands‑on experience with fraud detection and investigation systems.
