Line Maintenance Manager – Aircraft Operations

About the role

The Line Maintenance Manager (LMM) leads the execution of aircraft line‑maintenance activities at our Gurgaon engineering hub. Reporting to the Accountable Manager, the LMM ensures aircraft are safe, airworthy, and available while complying with DGCA CAR‑145 regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage and supervise all line‑maintenance tasks, including defect rectification, troubleshooting, component replacement and minor scheduled work.
• Guarantee that all maintenance follows approved procedures, current data, and safety and quality standards.
• Deploy licensed certifying staff across shifts and line stations, ensuring proper handovers and fatigue‑aware scheduling.
• Maintain availability of tools, equipment and support facilities required for line work.
• Oversee accurate completion of work cards, task records, aircraft technical logs and Certificates of Release to Service (CRS).
• Promote a strong safety culture, report safety occurrences promptly and implement corrective actions from audits.
• Coordinate with operators, CAMO, compliance, safety teams and regulatory authorities as needed.

Required profile

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineering qualification or equivalent technical degree.
• Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, with at least 2 years in line‑maintenance operations.
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
