Lifeguard – Hotel Pool Safety

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Lifeguard to join the pool team at Trident Hotel Bandra Kurla, a five‑star property in Mumbai’s business hub. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of guests using the hotel’s swimming facilities while providing a welcoming and professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the pool area continuously to prevent accidents and enforce all safety rules.
• Supervise swimmers of all ages, intervene in unsafe behavior, and perform water rescues when needed.
• Provide immediate first‑aid, CPR, and AED assistance in emergencies.
• Inspect and maintain pool equipment, check water quality, and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
• Assist guests with pool‑related queries, explain policies, and uphold hygiene standards in the pool and surrounding areas.

Required profile

• Strong swimming ability and proven water‑safety skills.
• Current lifeguard certification from a recognized authority; CPR, first‑aid and AED certifications are strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of pool safety standards, emergency procedures, and basic facility maintenance.
• Excellent communication, high alertness, and the ability to stay focused for long periods.
• Physical fitness to perform rescues and handle demanding tasks.
• Prior lifeguard or similar safety‑focused experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
