Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join TAC Security, a fast‑growing technology company focused on security solutions. The role will provide comprehensive legal support across corporate, commercial, regulatory and cybersecurity matters, helping the business scale while managing risk.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of agreements including NDAs, vendor contracts, client agreements, SaaS contracts and partnership agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, such as data protection, cybersecurity, labour laws and the Indian IT Act.
• Provide legal guidance to internal stakeholders on business operations, risk mitigation and strategic initiatives.
• Support corporate legal matters including board documentation, statutory filings and corporate structuring.
• Identify legal risks, particularly in cybersecurity and data privacy, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with external counsel on disputes, litigation and regulatory matters.
• Draft and implement internal legal policies, compliance frameworks and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred.
• 4‑6 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in‑house, preferably within tech or cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of contract law, corporate law and data protection regulations.
• Experience handling international contracts is a plus.
