Legal Counsel

About the role

We are looking for an in‑house Legal Counsel to join a US‑headquartered product company’s growing India hub. You will act as the primary legal partner for product, commercial and corporate teams, handling contracts and risk matters to keep the business moving quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate customer, vendor and partner agreements.
• Provide advice on data privacy, intellectual property, product licensing and related legal questions.
• Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks and standards.
• Partner with sales, product and finance teams on day‑to‑day legal queries.
• Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose practical solutions.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of post‑qualification experience in commercial or corporate law.
• LLB degree with enrollment as an advocate or equivalent qualification.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Reliable remote‑work setup.

Required skills
