Legal Counsel – Fintech (6-8 Years PQE)

About the role
Our client, a leading fintech, is seeking a hands‑on Legal Counsel for its Mumbai office.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate and vet fintech, licensing, SaaS and IT/ITES agreements
- Handle data protection (DP/DPA) and third‑party contracts
- Work on capital market and fundraising documentation
- Build and own legal SOPs, policies and internal controls
- Advise the business on regulatory and compliance matters, and coordinate with external counsel on IP, arbitration and disputes
Required profile
- LLB (or LLB + CS) with 6‑8 years of experience in legal advisory and contract management
- NBFC or fintech background
- Strong drafting and vetting skills across the agreement types above
- Based in Mumbai
