Lead Maintenance Electrical

About the role

The Lead Maintenance Electrical is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical equipment within the plant. This role combines hands‑on maintenance work with leadership of a technical team, focusing on both preventive and corrective actions to minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize and execute critical electrical maintenance tasks, including scheduled and emergency repairs.
• Oversee maintenance of plant‑wide electrical assets, common‑area equipment, and workshop facilities.
• Manage planned turnarounds and shutdowns, ensuring equipment is tested, calibrated and returned to service on time.
• Lead root‑cause investigations, risk assessments and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat failures.
• Develop and deliver training programmes for team members to enhance technical competencies.
• Control inventory of complex spare parts, particularly low‑tension (LT) motors.
• Ensure compliance with HSEF standards, company policies, SOPs and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Prepare electrical maintenance budgets, monitor costs and track performance against schedules.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team and coordinate cross‑functional activities.
• Strong analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with HSEF safety standards and plant‑wide maintenance procedures.
