Lead Finance & Accounts

About the role

The Lead Finance & Accounts role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate monthly financial closures in line with IND AS requirements, as well as supporting quarterly regulatory reporting to the RBI. The position works closely with internal finance, tax, and compliance teams and coordinates with external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and close monthly financial statements according to IND AS.
• Coordinate provisioning, reconciliation of accounts, and statutory dues.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly RBI returns and support RBI onsite inspections.
• Liaise with Income & Expense teams to capture IND AS related changes.
• Collaborate with the Tax team for accurate income tax and deferred tax computation.
• Manage collection activities for mid‑market and corporate clients, including on‑ground follow‑up and travel as needed.
• Maintain and monitor MIS and fraud detection systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in collections for mid‑market or corporate customers.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and high ethical standards.
• Effective communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and work in a process‑oriented environment.
