Lead Engineer – Chassis Anti‑Roll Bar (ARB)

About the role

The Lead Engineer will own the end‑to‑end delivery of front and rear anti‑roll bar (ARB) systems for passenger‑car chassis projects. You will drive concept definition, detailed design, validation, and launch support while ensuring cost, weight, quality and schedule targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Define ARB architecture, set targets and cascade requirements with full traceability.
• Lead design strategy and integration across vehicle interfaces such as packaging, kinematics, NVH and E/E.
• Conduct DFMEA, DVP&R and design reviews; manage design releases and change control.
• Plan and execute virtual and physical validation programmes, including durability, corrosion and abuse testing.
• Provide technical leadership to suppliers – RFQ support, specification, design reviews, issue resolution and APQP/PPAP readiness.
• Manage program risks, maturity gates and root‑cause analysis (8D) with corrective actions.
• Mentor junior engineers, allocate work packages and ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech/M.E. in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• 6‑10 years of automotive chassis/driveline product development experience.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and work autonomously.
• Strong understanding of system interfaces, manufacturing feasibility and design release processes.
• Experience with global suppliers and multi‑site collaboration.
